Margurita went outside and found some white sand. She used this to clean the stains from the dishes. She polished the cutlery until they were to her satisfaction. After everything was tidy, the place looked quite cozy. Alphy and Margurita would spend seven years in this small place. Four of their children would be born here.

In the afternoon, Alphy and Margurita spent time walking in the woods, side by side. Alphy had inherited fifty acres of land from his grandfather, Norbert Poirier. Alphy wanted to show Margurita the property, which was also hers now. It was a pleasant day.
