Jan. 19: "Georgetown Re—organizes Scout and Cub Movement a new committee formed with Vernon Myers, J.W. Lavers and Mrs. Alec Arsenault. Alan MacPhee is scoutmaster, John Walsh assisting while Sonny Johnson and Sammy MacNeil as cubmasters with the help of Mrs.

Clair Currie.

June 9: "Georgetown Man Granted Citizenship in County Court"- Anthony Nabuurs, others of the family receiving it earlier.

June—July 14- Oct..: In baseball Eagles have Allie MacPhee as winning pitcher and John Walsh as top batter. Other players noted include Sonny Johnson, Buddy McCullough and Joe Martell Eagles win P.E.I. Intermediate B.
