James (1. July 15, 1866, Five Mile House; bur. Marshfield Pioneer Cem. Note -- Birth could possibly be 1791 as tombstone reads 75 years at time of death. James was known as James “New Inn” Fergusson.

Isabella Fergusson (1.John 1) b. July 26, 1800, Blair Athol, Perthshire, Scotland; in. Nov. 24, 1836, William F. Scantlebury, b. abt. 1784, Cornwall, England; occupation Millwright; d. Jan. 12, 1853, Ch’town. Isabella d. Feb. 19, 1852. Both bur. Old Protestant Burying Ground. William Scantlebury emigrated from Cornwall, Devonshire, England with his first wife, Mary and young family in 1821 and settled in Ch’town. On Jan. 1853 William wrote a will (Liber 5, Folio 209) (James, George, Jane and William are children by his first wife, Mary.)
