Dr. Alexander Henry Boswall and Family of their descendants. Lists of prize winners of the Charlottetown Exhibition from 1867 to the present day frequently list the descendants of Dr. A. H. Boswall among the top prize winners. In 2000 Alexander Henry Lyle Boswall , great-great grandson of Dr. A. H. Boswall was recognized by the Provincial Exhibition for having continuously been on the list of exhibitors for ninety years. Their success was not limited to PEI but over the years spread to regional exhibitions in Nova Scotia , New Brunswick and included national and international recognition for success with livestock. It is quite unlikely that any other family in Canadian agriculture has contributed so much over so many successive generations to the development of purebred livestock. Members of the family have been recognized and honoured by royalty and their peers with medals and designations as master breeders of livestock. Members of the family have been elected to the and Agricultural Hall's of Fame. Today this tradition continues in Marshfield with Farms Holsteins, Jerseys, Tulloch Farm and Woodmere Stables. Where the great-great-great-great-grandchildren of Alexander Henry and Harriet Burston continue to be active in agriculture today. Described in the genealogy at the end of this chapter are only those descendants of Alexander Henry and Harriet Burston Boswall with direct connections to Marshfield .
