Matilda Vickerson (4.Conrad2, 1.Georgel ) b. 17 April, 1835, Marshfield; m. 25 Jan. 1858, in Mission House, Vernon River, Joseph Tweedy, b. 1825, England. Occupation farmer/land waiter, d. 16 July 1895. Matilda d. 2 Feb. 1890. Both Matilda and Joseph are bur. Vernon River. In the book An Island Reflge, page 302, they are listed as having two sons and one daughter.

Marshfield Presbyterian Cem. “Sandy” was the son of Alexander Robertson (Goose Pond) and Margaret “Peggy” Ferguson. He settled at Marshfield on the 100 acre farm his father called “The Old McCormack Property” which was willed to him by his father. This farm was called “Melrose”.
