National 4-H Citizenship Seminar — This seminar first commenced in 1973 and centred around the theme of citizenship. Aside from speakers and discussion, members also toured and visited around Ottawa. The following were participants from the club:

Harvest Trust Scholarship — 1994 F John Wood
National Careers’ Conference — This conference held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, focuses on career counselling with expert resource people. It is combined with a host program where the member stays in the home of a delegate in different districts across Manitoba. The following members were participants from the club:

National 4-H Dairy Conference (held in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.) — The Stewart Wright Memorial Scholarship was established so that exceptional dairy members would be recognized for their efforts. Madison Dairy Conference provides a great opportunity for two Island dairy members to attend the World Dairy Exposition in addition to the numerous activities and discussions held at the conference. The purpose of the conference is to provide a better understanding of the operations involved in the production, processing, marketing and use of dairy products. Scotiabank Hays Classic — This dairy show is open to Canadian 4—H members and the rules and regulations of the show are based on the 4—H philosophy “Learn to do by doing.” Showmanship and conformation classes are available to all dairy breeds competing. Winners representing the Dunstaffnage - Marshfield 4—H Club are as follows:
