-George (1874) married Lillian Rayner. They had two children: Marion and Wyman. George’s second wife was Ann Newcombe, and they had one son Willard.
-Mary Ann (1876) married John Williams of Tyne Valley. They had eight children: Evelyn, Ella, Elva, Hinson, Olive, Glen and twins Erma and Orell.
-Richard (1878) married Florence Bryant (ref. below) -Lavina (1880) maried Gus Loring and had three children: Curtis, Doris and Florence.
-John W. (1882) married Nettie Murray and had three children: Enid, Lloyd and Sterling. John W.’s second wife was Inez Ellis.
-Ella (1884) married Albert Yeo of Harmony, and had three children: Kathleen, Wyman and Gladys.
-Sadie (1886) married Angus Enman of Springhill. They had six children: Ineze, Reuben, Kenneth, Blanche, Stenning and Ellis.
~James Frederick (1888) married Lillie MacCutchen. A second marriage to Inez Ellis. -Reuben (1890) married Jeanetta Dyment of Springhill (ref. to Greg and Gail Ellis) -Bertha (1892) married Edward Anderson and had two children: Virginia and Jeanne. -Ada (1894) married Edgar Emnan and had two children: Edgar Jr. and Elaine.
—Eva (1896) married Arthur Hutchinson of Ellerslie, and had ten children: Rubie, Edward, Marion, Serena, Inez, Donald, Orville, Vernon, Phyllis and Carol.
-Serena (1897) married Wesley Smith of Victoria West, and had six children: May, Eva, Elva, Alton, Alvin and Lyman.
It appears that James H.’s parents (James and Marion) must have lived out their last years in Northam (both their names are listed in the 1881 census and Marion’s in the 1901 census).
Richard Ellis married Florence Bryant of North Enmore. Richard was a mail driver and a farmer for years and also liked to trade horses. They had a family of eight:
