Bideford. Charles operated a general store, next door, as well in dealing in potatoes, and Jean was a school teacher. They had four children:

-William married Joan Sheppard of Nova Scotia. They have one daughter, Noelle.

-Gloria married David Cooke of Winnipeg. They have two children: Jenna and Alexander.
