(1893) David and Ida had a family of eight: - John Ellis (1895) married Josephine Cameron of Charlottetown and had one daughter, Marjorie. -Mabel (1896) married Reagh Williams of MacNeill Mills and had two children: David and Fern. - James Clayton (1897) not married. - Susan Myrtle (1899) married Forbes Ellis of O'Leary and had one daughter, Iris. -Etta (1900), not married, was a teacher, died young of cancer.. -Carrie married Roy Ellis of East Bideford . They had two children: Wyman and Joan. - Hartford married Christine Emery . They had four children: Marion, Jennie, Eddie, John -Glenn married widower Herman Dyment After David passed away, Glenn lived here with her mother for a few years and used her talents as a music teacher for several years, many of her students were contestants in Schurman's School Parade, winning their share of awards, and are now providing music for church and various functions in the area here and in other parts of the Island. She and Herman Dyment were married. Herman was a potato inspector as well as a retired farmer. They had no children. Rod Brown and wife had this house rented for a period while he had an Indian Affairs position on Lennox Island . James and Anna Jean Dyment lived here while their house was being built. Lynden and Betty also rented here for a period previous to building their own house. David Williams married Eileen Dunk of Ontario . David served overseas as a Corporal during WW11, on return he worked with Westinghouse. Eileen was a homemaker. All of their seven children were brought up in Ontario : -Eileen married Joe Haskell of Ontario . Their children: 71
