The kitchen section was removed from house belonging to Alfred and Marjorie Colwill, and was hauled to this location. After the house on the homestead was lost by fire, Martha moved to this house along with son, Arnold. After Arnold's marriage to Doris Gilroy , Martha moved back to the farmstead, not far from son, Ellis. Arnold and Doris had five children: -David -Martha -Eldon -Joyce - Donald Arnold operated a black-smith shop for a period of time. Arnold and Doris moved to Nova Scotia . Florence lived in this house after the accidental death of her husband, Leonard Dyment . 75
