Herman Dyment (1895), served in World War 1, and Inez Gorrill , both of Northam were married moved to and farmed in Montrose where their children were born. They later moved to Inez s old home where they raised their family of seven; - J. Wendell married Verna Folland (see below) -Marion married Michael Senick of Montreal and had nine children: Kathleen Marlene Carolyn , Nickolas, Amelia, Leon, Barbara, Deborah and Douglas. -Eleanor (now deceased) married William Conkey of Newfoundland and had one son Charles. -Kathleen married Horace Newcombe of Tyne Valley where they live (refer to Roy and Muriel Newcombe) -Laura (now deceased) married Henry Birch of where they lived, and had three children: Anna, Edith and Kevin . -Wilna married George Millar of , where they live, and have four children: Margaret, Arthur, Herman and Brenda . -Joyce married MacLennan of , where they live, and have two daughters: Karen and Carol. Wendell Dyment married Verna Folland , daughter of Thomas and Florence (Taylor) Folland of Tyne Valley . He enlisted in the army for service in World War 2. After the war ended, he took over the farm and probably was the first potato grower in the district to use a digger and picker to harvest his crop. He re-enlisted with the armed forces in the late 1940's. Wendell and Verna (both now deceased) had five children: -Wayne married Maureen Bradfield and had two daughters: Pamela and Coleen . -Inez married Paul Dean and had three sons: Brian, Bruce and Thomas. -William married Marie Milson and had two sons: William and Daniel, divorced and married a second time, this time to Barbara Stewart . Wiliam died as the result of a fall. -Marjorie married James Henderson and had three children: Kevin , Terry and Cindy . 142
