Foreword to Revised and Expanded Edition

This revised and expanded edition of Genealogical Resources for Georgetown, P.E.I.: Vital Statistics from Island Newspapers: 1792— 1950 includes newspaper entries discovered since the publication of the first edition. Also some errors in that work are corrected. In an appendix 1 have added data about probable geographic origins of some Island families which was gathered mainly from obituaries in early newspapers. I hope this will enrich the resources for persons researching Georgetown families.
