A later note records that “passengers in the IE, (disembarking in Charlottetown) 44 days from Liverpool were: Angus Macdonald, Esq, Mrs Macdonald and Lieut. Colin Macdonald.” The Idas could not get into Three Rivers Harbour because of ice on the shores. (Recister, May 20, 1825)
