D. “At New Glasgow, N. S. recently, George McAulay, a native of Georgetown, P.E.l., in his 70th year. He was the only child of the Rev. Roderick McAulay, who came from Scotland about the year 1831 and for some three or four years ministered to the Presbyterian Church at Rogers Hill, Pictou County, N. S. but later moved to P.E.I.. In 1864 the deceased was married to Sarah Isabel Parker daughter of the late George Parker of Georgetown and moved with his family to New Glasgow in 1895. D. At Bellevue, Brudenell River, July 1, Ann Rosina Davis, relict of the late Frederick P. Norton, age 75 yrs. 9 mos.. They were married in Halifax, Nov. 1854. He pursued business in Georgetown until his death, June 4, 1868. Eight children were bom; one, Frederic William. died in 1860. The others survive; Edward H. and Alice S , in Charlottetown;Emma J. (Mrs. Bissett) Windsor N. 8.: James in Winnipeg; Helena and Egerton at home; Rev. Dr. Frederick in Ohio. Burial in Georgetown. (From M1211, July 6, 1910)

D. “The death occurred at Georgetown on Monday last, Oct. 4, aftera week’s illness of pneumonia, of Captain William W. White, aged 50. Deceased was a native of Murray River. but for the past twenty years has been a resident of Georgetown, where he followed the sea fishing and coasting. This summer he was master and owner of the schooner Joseph 0. which was engaged in the coastal trade, her last trip being to Georgetown with a load of coal. Captain White was an active and capable mariner, steady and industrious. His death will be a heavy blow to the bereaved family and will be deeply regretted
