D. In Hospital in Charlottetown, Apr. 4, Charles Haines. He was born at Country Harbour, N.S. in 1839 and came with his parents to P.E.I. at age 15. After the loss of his first wife he emigrated to USA. where he lived for 35 years. On his return to Georgetown, he farmed in the Royalty and at Brudenell Point, where his residence was destroyed by fire, after which he was induced to live with his aged sister Barbara MacDonald. He leaves to moum two sisters, Mrs. MacDonald and Mrs. Cassie Stevens, also a daughter, Mrs. John Publicover and a number of grand children.
