D. On Dec. 5th, at his home in Georgetown, Wallace R. MacDonald, age 50. He was born in South Boston the only child of Alex MacDonald and his wife Mary Bell (of Wood Islands, P.E.l.). He came to P.E.l. from Pictou a few years ago and to Georgetown from Charlottetown where he had been employed with Dominion Seed. In 1914 he married Muriel Layers, youngest daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. George Layers, who suryives him. He also leaves one daughter, Vivian, student-nurse at the P.E.l. Hospital. Rev. John Stirling officiated at the funeral with burial in St. David’s Cemetery. (From Patriot, Dec. 13, 1937 & obituary later.)

Miss Knight, a graduate of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal, of the class of 1934, will sail by the S S. Empress of Japan from Vancouver on the 19th for China, the marriage to take place there." D. Atthe P.E.I. Hospital, Mar. 16, 1938, Bartlett James Mair, son of the late Mr. & Mrs. James Mair, Burnt Point, aged 47. He was a member of the 98th Siege Battery during the World War and never fully recovered from poison gas. He leaves a widow and six children, a sister, Anna, Superintendent of the P.E.l. D. At the Cottage Farm, Georgetown Royalty, on Mar, 29th. James A. MacDonald, aged 72 years. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons: Emmett & Frank at home, a daughter, Mac in Newton Mass; also a brother Thomas, a retired seaman, Georgetown Royalty. He was predeceased by brothers, Jerome and Frank, an electrical engineer, and a sister, Eli7a, Mrs. James Woods, Lake Verde, P,E.l. . (From Patriot, Apri15, 1938)

She is survived by sons Henry, at home, Warren, C.N.R. cleaner at present in Souris, Herbert in Boston and six daughters: Mrs. Alden Fraser (Elizabeth) and Mattie, at home, Susan and Mary at Montague, Mrs. A.
