Dicks, aged 62. He was proprietor of Dalvay Summer Hotel for some years but made his living from shipping. He is survived by his second wife, Frances McCabe, of Stanhope and their son, Harold. His first wife, Alice McDonald, of Georgetown predeceased him a number of years ago. By this first marriage a son, Bill, and four daughters survive; also three brothers: Capt. John; Capt. He was a school teacher, thtn went into business, later taking up residence with his son in Georgetown. He manied Amanda Jane Webster of Rollo Bay in 1889 and they had two sons: Webster it Georgetown and Roy of New Perth. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Montague, and served as eldef.
