William MacLaren, He leaves to mourn his wife and daughter, Lois, and a sister, Mrs. Harold MacDonald, Georgetown, P.E.I. . Two brothers Albert and William pre-deceased him. D. At Georgetown, April, 17th, Harold W. MacDonald, only son of the late Hon Malcolm MacDonald. He carried on the MacDonald and Westaway business in Georgetown after his father died but moved to Toronto in 1904, returning to Georgetown in retirement. He is survived by his wife, the former Lillian McLaren of Georgetown and two nephews, Malcolm L & Hany A. Richardson and a niece, Mrs. J. Depensier, Ottawa. (From Patriot, Apr. 25, 1945)

Besides her husband she leaves to mourn children: Raymond, Virginia and Elizabeth; and two brothers Eugene in Newport and Fred J. in Georgetown and a sister, Francis, who cared for her during her long illness. He was active in community and Masonic circles. He leaves to mourn the following family: Joseph. John and Kathleen in Boston, Ernest in the Navy and Rose at home.
