errant halyard. We were welcomed on Boughton Island by Frank and Mrs. MacCormack. Jimmy, of course, had been their neighbor before his move to Cardigan. She gave us tea and biscuits. In addition she gave us a treat that is not known by very many people, strawberry jam made from wild strawberries. My brother Francis retired from the work force several years ago but he still remembers that treat that Mrs. MacCormack gave to her visitors. For my part I remember that she offered my little brother milk rather than tea which he was too young to drink. When Francis saw that it came from a can labeled Carnation, he politely declined.
