My mother was also working there, but was home the evening Dad died ......... The spring of 1923 arrived and Mother and George went back to Boughton Island factory again, so the old farm was abandoned as we were too young to hold onto it ....... MOTHER REMARRIES Well, the months of May and June went, the lobster season was over and, of course, we waited for our mother and brother to return but we did not hear from them until a week later. When my brother George arrived to our old abode, he told us that Mother had remarried and would be home later, which she did, but this was the bitterest ordeal that we had to accept as yet. Mother and step-father just left 100 acres of the best wood and lumber in Milltown and we boys were too young to 50
