Session Minutes, Lot 14, Dec. 1, 1822.

“The associate session of Richmond Bay being met and constitute with prayer by Rev. William MacGregor, moderator Sederunt. TS. and AR. his wife appeared before the session for the sin of fornication. The session agreed that both parties should stand a public rebuke before the congregation on Sabbath the 22nd Instant at Lot 14. Closed with prayer.”

Session Minutes, Lot 16, September 14, 1823.

“The associate session of Richmond Bay being met and constitute with prayer by Mr. MacGregor, moderator Sederunt. The moderator informed the session that W M. applied to him for baptism for his children often. The session on the report of two of the members in respect to his intoxi- cating practices did not think fit to baptize his children, but that Robert lVIilligan and Charles Craswell shall admonish him and tell him unless that he reform in his practices that he shall be suspended from all Christian privileges. Closed with

prayer.”

Session Minutes, Lot 16, Feb. 22, 1824. “The moderator also advised the session on the conduct of the members who encouraged and went to hear the Methodist

Preacher Brooks last Sabbath. The session agreed they shall be admonished by a committee viz Archibald Campbell and john MacKinnon and to be dealt with according to the spirit in which they appear to take the admonition. Closed with

prayer.”

“Appeared before the session A. M., elder who acknowl- edged the charge of intoxication preferred against him with seeming contiition. Session agreed to rebuke him sharply before their bar, with certification that if he offends again he shall be referred over to the Presbytery for suspension from
