Rev. William M. MacLeod (1897)

Rev. Wm. M. MacLeod was born in North River, Col- chester County, Nova Scotia on October 17, 1856. He was educated at Dalhousie University and Presbyterian College in Halifax. He was ordained to the ministry at Harcourt, New Brunswick in 1889. His was a long history of service in many fields in the Maritimes and Labrador. His last charge was in Wellington, Prince Edward Island. He died atJoggins, Nova Scotia in 1946, survived by his only daughter. He was described as a man of “intense earnestness, deep conviction, and evangelical zest”.

Rev. W. A. Ross was born in Pictou County, Nova Scotia on September 18, 1872. He was educated at Pictou Academy, Dalhousie University, and Presbyterian College. W A. Ross was ordained by the Halifax Presbytery in 1900. His post— graduate work was done in Glasgow, Scotland. He ministered to the Lot 16 congregation as a student in 1897. For eleven years, he was General—Secretary of the New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Sunday School Association.
