man of Albert, New Brunswick. He served on Prince Edward Island in Summerside, Tyne Valley, and Richmond Bay East as well as in points in both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. He ministered to the Presbyterian congregation in Lot 16 from 1915 to 1922. During his ministry in Douglastown, New Brunswick, he was an active participant in Church Union. In 1931, he suffered a stroke and died; Rev. Davidson is buried in Stanley, New Brunswick where a stained glass window in the church stands as a memorial to
his work.

Rev. J C. Martin (1923-1926)
Rev. james C. Martin was born in Uigg, Prince Edward Island in 1861. He was educated at Prince of Wales College in Charlottetown, began his career as a teacher, and then went into business. He studied for the ministry in New York and was ordained by the American Presbyterian Church. He answered a call to the church in Cardigan in 1913 before serving as a chaplain during World War I. He served other charges in Wood Islands and Mt. Stewart before coming to Richmond Bay East from where he retired in 1926. Rev. Martin was a strong supporter of Church Union. He became ill in 1927 and was treated Rev. J.C. Martin at Camp Hill Hospital, Halifax. He retired to Summerside
and Roseneath, Prince Edward Island. Rev. Martin died in 1930 and was buried at Orwell Head, Prince Edward Island.
