one of us, God continues to reveal to us that love in humans through our contacts with one another within the fellowship of the Church family.

We remember arriving at the manse in North Bedeque, having travelled from Alberta, to find Edith MacLean (Lot 16) and Jean Jordan (North Bedeque) there. These ladies had taken the time to be there when the movers delivered our things and to welcome us.

We think of Winston Yeo arriving to take us around and show us where the churches were and then to his home before driving us back to the Manse.

Some of our fondest memories are of our relationship with the young people of the congregation: the comment by

some of the Sunday Church School children (when they were asked what they would change about the way they did

Born: Little Harbour, Nova Scotia.

Education Little Harbour, Lockport High School. A fisherman for 23 years owned own equipment —came ashore 1966-67. Attended St. Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Graduated from Pine Hill Divinity Hall in 1970 with Bachelor of Theology.

Charges: Amherst Head, Northumberland Pastoral Charge, 1970-1973. Scotsbum, Lyons Brook and Salt Springs, 1973-1978.

Retired in 1993.

Personal: Married to Paula Telfer in 1956.

Chiktren: Arthur and Cindy, and two grandchildren.

Presently Paula and Russell make their home in Truro, Nova Scotia.
