Arthur married Mary Amelia Beairsto (Minnie) of Baltic, a granddaughter of Rev. John Keir. Together, they raised a family of two daughters and four sons. Rev. Arthur Lee Carr, B.A. B.D. (1882-1945)
Arthur Lee Carr, the third child of George Washington Carr (see Carr history) and Sarah Compton, was born on February 21, 1882 at Carr’s Corner Farm in North St. Eleanor’s. Arthur Lee had three brothers: Evan, Villiers, and Austin (twins) and four sisters: Olive, Mary, Sophia, and Irene.20
Arthur Lee, as a boy, kept a diary which reflected his Christian devotion and his insights into the daily life of his family and community. He attended school in St. Eleanor’s and at the age of seventeen was accepted into Prince of Wales
