church was in the evening. Starting in the early 19705, the Sunday School schedule changed to the fall, winter, and spring months and stopped during the summer vacation

jesus Loves Me This I Know’ is my favourite hymn. I like to come to church to sing along with everyone else and then go down to Sunday School. We do lots of neat crafts and learn all about the Bible. There are lots of stories in the Bible. On Mondays, I come to Explorers.

It is great because it teaches us about kindness and caring about other people. We even sponsor a child in another country. But I think what I like best about church is Rev. Don’s pig stories. They

make my friends and me laugh and everybody else too.

period.

The new millennium saw a new innovation in the scheduling of Sunday ser- vices. Over the years atten- dance at the evening service had become very low, whereas the church services conducted in conjunction with the Sunday School were well attended. It was decided to cancel the evening services and, on those Sundays, hire a speak- er to conduct church at 11:15. Sunday school could

now meet during the church

I have very jbnd memories of the Lot 16 Community Church, like making my Mom embarrassed. For example, one time Rev. MacPherson was talking about for- getting things when I blurted out ‘Well this morning my Mom forgot to put her fly up.’ She was embarrassed and turned bright red. Also another memory was the time I got my head stuck in a vent and Mom and janie Boschma had to pull me out. In Sunday School, I always had a great time except for the time I had to sing at the front of the church; that was for a Sunday service; they put me up to it.

I found it embarrassing. I will always remember the children’s stories. When I was YOung they were interesting and that was about the only time I didn’t talk through the church service. I will never forget Rev. Don’s pig stories with our fallourite friends (Oink, Oink Oink, and Oink Oink Oink.) We received a lot of good lessons from those stories. Overall, this is a great church.
