organist was Doris MacGregor. In

Several congregational mem- bers in attendance at the celebra— tion were also present at the open- ing of the church sixty years before. They were Edward Ramsay, W H. MacGregor, A. E. MacLean, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gardiner, Miss Nettie Lyle, Nliss C. Bearisto and WilliamJ. MacLean.2
The Bible used at; the services was the one Robert Milligan had presented to the first church. The Bible had been given to Robert’s
father, John, by another son, Alexander, in Scotland in 1816.

Some of the persons who were involved with the sixtieth anni— versary also played a role in the 100th anniversary celebration of the church. OnJuly 10, 1977 two services were scheduled. The minister at the time of the sixtieth anniversary, Rev. Dr. Russell Woodside, travelled from his church in Bathurst, New Bruns- wick to deliver the sermon at the morning service. The speaker at the seven-thirty evening service was the church minister Rev. Dr. William J. MacDougall. The soloists were Edith MacLean and Neil MacGregor.
