Darlene and Richard Gaudet

Darlene and Richard Gaudet, and their daughterJennifer, moved to Southwest Lot 16 in August 1983. Karen was born in 1984. The girls attended Lot 16 United Church where they were involved in youth grouszennifer moved to Miscouche; she married Geoff Reece in 2001 at the Lot 16 United Church. They have one son, Logan. Their first child, Blake, is buried in Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. Wni‘ten by Jennfer Reece

Vincent and Amy Gaudet

Vincent and Amy (Sweet) Gaudet moved to Miscouche in 1979. Vincent grew up in Tignish, and Amy grew up in O’Leary. They have three sons: Nicholas, Brady, and Jonathon. The boys have all attended youth groups and Sunday School at Lot 16 United. Amy is an elder, a member of the choir, and is on the Board of Stewards.

Higgins Family

The Higgins family name is no longer found in the com- munity of Lot 16, but it once appeared frequently on the lists of St. James Methodist Church. James Higgins arrived in Belmont from Crapaud in 1878, and settled on the farm now owned by Eddie and Ruby Clark. James’ son, William, took over part of the family farm about 1882, and fanned there until 1914. '
