He is presendy a member of the United Church Cemetery Committee. Grace has been a Sunday School teacher. John (1930-1976) married Bertie Dawson and lived on the original John Yeo home¬ stead. They had four children: Kevin, Joan, Sandra , and Kent. Joan ( Carl Barlow ) lives on 'Sunnybrae Farm ' (see MacLean History ). They have three children, Stephanie, Derek, and Emma. Joan is on the manse committee and teaches Sunday School. Lawrence married Sarah Jane Birch ; they had a family of nine: Frank, (see Frank Yeo History), Eva, Edmund, Garfield, Lewis (died in infancy), Irene, Jennie, Muriel, and Birchfield. Eva ( Leonard Pickering ) and Muriel ( Ralph Compton ) lived in nearby Sherbrooke . Garfield, who married Campsie MacLaurin, daughter of James of Belmont (see MacLaren History), farmed across the road from his parents. Garfield and Campsie had a fam¬ ily of three, Byron, Jessie, and Gerald. Byron and Gerald remained in Lot 16 . Byron married Ethel Ramsay , daughter of Claude (see John Ramsay History ); Gerald married Muriel Stewart and farmed the home property until his death in 1968. The property has since been sold. Birchfield married Annie Monkley of . Their three children were Charles who married Lillian Forbes , a descendent of Donald Forbes, Mae who married Elmer Inman , and Lawrence (Larry) who married Opal (Elizabeth) Clark of . Larry and Elizabeth took over the homestead and had two sons, Paul and Peter. Elizabeth died in 1978. Larry and his sons still own the property. Jabez married Sarah Jane Large and had a family of three. Annie married Will Best (see Best History); they had no family. Wesley married Florence Thompson (see Thompson History ) and moved to North St. Eleanor 's. When the Summerside Air expanded and closed the Eleanor's Road, the family discontinued attend¬ ing United Church. Wesley and Ho had two daugh¬ ters and a son, Blanche, Lulu, and Wyman.
