a hoofie from his hand.) ZZ was still in the woods searching. Finally ZZ finds a snake. He snuck up to the snake and as the tail quick- ened, he sipped it in a little bit. The snake was curving in the air but, ZZ finally brought it home with him. ZZ got it into the pen and holding the snake with his little hoofie said,
Now we have to go over there and give our snake to Z-ZZ”
But Z said, “I’m not giving it away!”
Z figured it out. I’m not going to grow any more, he thought. Did you ever think you weren’t going to grow anymore? That’s the way Z figured it out. He thought he was never going to grow up and he’d lost the game to get a snake. So Z slurped his snake again and
ran out of sight. When ZZ and Z-ZZ looked around the pig pen, they couldn’t
find Z. What happened was Z went in the muck hole and hid in there. Z took the snake under the muck because he didn’t want to give it to Z-ZZ. He stayed there. Z-ZZ was getting angry. He was wondering where his snake was and he was really getting angry! “Where is my snake?”
He couldn’t find it because Z was underneath the muck hole wondering “hmmmm?”
What would you do? What would you do? Z’s not supposed to eat the snake! He didn’t want to give it up! What would you do? Would you eat it? He’s hiding under there and he’s wondering,
“I don’t know what to do? I’ve probably made Z—ZZ angry.”
ZZ while sniffing around in the muck hole noticed this little lump. He stuck his head right underneath the muck and said, “Anyone in there?”
Z said, “Yes”
ZZ asked, “What are you doing under here?”
Z said, “Well I don’t want to give up the snake.”
ZZ said, “Well what are you going to do because Z-ZZ is very angry with you?”
Z asked “Could you help me?”
ZZ said, “Ok, I’ll help you.”
ZZ took the snake by the tail and slurped it up and gave it to Z-ZZ who said, “Uglm it has muck on it.” But he took it.
Now what has all that got to do with this sermon? The difficulty for me is that maybe this is being recorded for the next 100 years.
There’s two boys, Esau andjacob. They are two brothers who are realizing that their Dad, Isaac, is coming to his death. Isaac is blind and has to, in tradition of faith, extend to the oldest child the
