this sport as well. It was a wonderful place to have fun, competition and a spot set aside where everyone could occupy their leisure time.
As parents, we knew where the children were, and what they were doing. There were no curfews or restriction on time. When Terry, the youngest, started to school, he had already been exposed to the sport. He had to play against stiff competition at home, so at an early age could play the game
very well. When they were tired of playing badminton, the loft was then converted
into a basketball court where two nets and a basketball were used. Once again, they were joined by other children. This game gave them great satisfaction, and a chance to socialize with their peers. It was time well spent, for basketball continues to be their favorite sport today.
