HALLOWEEN PRAN KS

Halloween falls on the evening of October 31st, the vigil of All Saints Day. It is celebrated mostly by children and teenagers. Occasionally, adults join in the festivities as well.

One Halloween night, Terry, who was a teenager at the time, put on a mask and went to Souris to join his friends in the C.I.B.C. parking lot. Suddenly a car drove up with this cute little girl behind the wheel. In an instant Terry pulled an egg from his pocket and threw it at the car. Well, it seems that the egg missed, and went through the open window on the passenger side, and Terry heard Plop! The egg hit the pretty young damsel, fair and square on her cheek. She dashed out of the car and with the yellow liquid matter running down her face, confronted Terry with very selective

words that made him feel sorry for his actions. As the days passed, Terry and this girl met occasionally and solved their

differences, with the young lady accepting an apology from Terry for his

actions. As the story goes, they became good friends, and with time, sweethearts

and eventually husband and wife. All because of a Halloween prank, Julie Higdon changed her name to Julie Maclsaac.

Another Halloween night, Blair and Terry and a few children in the neighborhood were circling the area hoping to find a prank to play on

someone. Finally one had a bright idea (Blair and Terry assured me that they were

not the culprits). Someone suggested putting something on the window of a neighbor’s car. When they arrived at their destination, one member of the group had a better idea. He placed an egg under the gas peddle of the car. The next morning, the man came out of the house all dressed for church. When he pressed the accelerator, Splash! The egg broke and the contents smeared all over his clothes. If those boys had been near at the moment, he would have taken disciplinary action. Instead the good man, changed his clothes and continued on to church leaving the boys to go their merry ways without even inflicting a penalty upon them.

One Halloween night, Gary and his friend went to Souris. Gary was getting older, and insisted that there was not enough activity in Bear River,
