The Perfection Dairy begins hauling creamfrom the Elmsdale area. prize fOI' OIIC factory ChC€S6, not less than 50 pounds.

The Agriculturist January 18, 1897 reported that the Campbellton Dairying Asso— ciation had met at the school with the president, Lawrence Doyle, presiding. Many ways of making the factory more successful were discussed: “The old board of di— rectors with Mr. James MacKendrick in his old place as when the association started. A splendid feeling was engendered and all will go well for Campbellton next year.”

Things did appear to improve. The cheese was of high quality as reported in the Agriculturist October 2, 1897. The prize list of a local fair or exhibition notes that the prize for factory cheese was won by William Sullivan of the Campbellton Cheese
