In a game played Thursday, July 5, 1940 at Elmsdale: “The Elmsdale Senior team

trounced the Alberton team 46—33. Heavy slugging by members of the Elmsdale

team resulted in the defeat for Alberton. Rev. W.A. Patterson and Bruce Currie um- pired the game. A return game will be played on Friday night.”
