(%Charlotte Town Baptist Church was established in 1836. Since Zthen, in five worship locations, it has welcomed thousands of members, guests and visitors with a comfortable pew to worship GOD. Some of the pews were even purchased! The Church’s Mission Statement, “We exist to faithfully share the good news of Jesus Christ and his Salvation, to help meet the needs of all people and to nourish them to Spiritual Maturity”, is the result of almost two centuries of dedication and effort. This story reflects the highs and lows of this journey, and the determined faith that overcame every obstacle, leading to the realization for today’s congregation that they have indeed inherited a “Legacy of Faith”.
