Sturgeon School

When we were growing up, there were no video arcades, no swimming pools, no place to “hang out.” Life centered round the home, the school, the store, and the church.

School was generally a fun place. The building was divided into two areas: the “big” room and the “little” room. The little room accommodated grades one to four while the remaining students occupied the second room. The new school year began about the middle of August.
