     Murray River 28-15. The “15” indicated 
     
     that the ringing tone for their telephone 
     
     was one long ring and five short ones. 
     
     Another phone was located at St. Paul’s 
     
     Parish House, but we would not consider 
     
     going there to call for a doctor or to use 
     
     the phone for any other reason. We were 
     
     too much in awe of the clergy to make a 
     
     visit to the parish house for such a 
     
     frivolous reason. However, the store 
     
     would gladly accommodate in time of 
     
     need. Jack Collings’ home was a private 
     
     residence that had a telephone on the 
     
     same line. They gladly assisted when 
     
     anyone needed to make a call.
