     Plymouth “Tin Lizzie.” The family 
     
     would pile into the old car and head off 
     
     to Montague about six-o’clock in the

     population of the surrounding

     were the restaurants and hot-dog 
     
     canteens. The “gospel preachers,” set up 
     
     in Stewart & Beck’s parking lot, were 
     
     saving souls by the dozens with singing, 
     
     clapping and shouting for all they were 
     
     worth.
