l Yeo’s Theatre was the mecca.

There were always two showing of the feature film-one at seven o’clock and the other at nine-thirty. The line-up extended two blocks from Main Street in to the theatre. We enjoyed exciting westerns with great stars such as John Wayne, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy and Tom Mix. Other offerings featured beauties like Doris Day, Susan Hayward, Dorothy Malone, Jane Wyman, Elizabeth Taylor, June Allison, Debbie Reynolds and Ester Williams America’s mermaid. When Bruce Yeo proudly strode to the front of the theatre and announced some of the upcoming features, there was always something for everyone’s taste.
