and poolroom, which occupies a space of 65x85 ft. Here there are three new bowling alleys, of the regulation size, made entirely of hard maple. In this space is also placed two billiard and two pool tables.

“Off the bowling alleys and pool tables room is situated the reading room, about 15x20 ft. Large windows give ample light during the day and the partition between is of glass which allows members waiting their turn at the bowling or pool to observe, without going out of the room, how the game progresses.

“Next to the reading area is a large dressing room, fitted with hot and cold water and supplied with lockers. The next room contains two toilets on one side, and three shower baths on the other. The latter are supplied with needle showerheads, fitted with a non-scald mixing valve. This is something, which has been in use only a short time and is giving excellent satisfaction.

“In one corner of the bowling alley is a lounging room with comfortable benches built to the wall. A sanitary drinking fountain is placed in a convenient corner and on this floor is also placed a switch board, from which all the lights

in the building are controlled.

“The heating apparatus is suspended from the ceiling, so that every available portion of space is used, and no radiators to interfere with players. The rooms on this floor are all finished in western fir and present a pleasing and cozy

appearance.

“The main floor or auditorium has not been altered to any great extent except it is now fitted for handball, basketball, volleyball etc. The portion of this hall, formerly used as a balcony has been remodelled into two rooms, one of which

will be used as a meeting room and the other as an antechamber.

“The stage, which was built when the hall was first remodelled, will remain, so as to be used for concerts and entertainment purposes. On this floor will also be placed portable gymnastic apparatus that may be removed when the hall is used for other purposes. Off this auditorium is a comfortable kitchen, equipped with a double oven hotel range, which will be used during High Teas, Bazaars

etc.
