The History of Argyle Shore and candles. Another one of the many special times and memories is the bridal shower that the children and their parents had for me the summer I was getting married. It was very fittingly held at the school. The older girls served at our wedding. I have just touched on a few of the many special memories of my six years as teacher at the Argvle Shore School. It is rather unique that Argyle Shore was my first teaching position and I was their last teacher. Because of consolidation in 1973, Argyle Shore School closed. The students and I went to Bonshaw School. It was a privilege for me to have taught these children and to have worked with their parents.
