many gallons of gas went into the lawn mower to cut the grass, how much money was spent in the upkeep ofthe cemetery and so on. Years ago friends of the person who passed away normally looked after the “opening and closing" of the grave site. Today it costs approximately $250.00 to get the grave opened and closed and the funeral home looks after it.

Many names are found on the gravestones. Most abundant are: Campbell, Currie, Darrach, Ferguson, MacDonald, MacDougall, McFarlane, MacKay, MacLean, MacNevin, MacPhail, Murchison, and Seller. The caretaker ofthe cemetery at this time is Gary MacPhail and the treasurer is Annie MacPhail.
