surrounding area. For the last 20 years, most of the berries came from the Shore U—Pick which is owned by Bruce MacLeod. The U-pick is also a source of great summerjobs for many of the youth in the area. This history of the Institute would not be complete without mentioning some of the many memories shared over the years: :wa making quilts for the hianitoba flood relief and for many people who lost homes by fire. :wa putting on concerts with unscripted plays, and being invited to perform them in other communities. We like to think we started “whose line is it anyway?". L3 being driven to meetings by Dorothy NiacPhail with her trusty horse and sleigh. 'wa having our tea cups read after lunches by one of our members and discontinuing the practice after having some of the predicted things came to pass. wa enjoying so many great visits with our twin institutes and, in so doing, establishing good communications between districts.
