Argyle Shore Community Hall
The Hall was built in 1902 by the hall company which was made up of several men from the community. It was originally the meeting place for the congregation of the Church of Scotland. The Orange Lodge had use of the upstairs portion, free of charge for ninety-nine years, until 2001; however, it is not in use at this time. The “old shed” behind the hall was used for the horses and later purchased for a storage area by Edwin MacPhail in the 19705. The shed was burned by controlled fire in the 19805. The Sea Breeze Senior Citizens club also had access, at no cost, to the Community Centre. The Women's Institute is responsible for ongoing maintenance of the Centre.
There are many community events held there such as: The famous “strawberry social” every July, concerts, “meet your neighbour nights”, showers, Red Cross instructors’ temporary home in the summer, and
