’3 When our kids were small we would load them on the sleigh and go to Edith and Fred’s for the evening. Edith always had a treat for the kids and lunch for us. Sometimes we would make homemade ice cream. I would make a chocolate cake. Once when we made ice-cream, we left it in the porch and when we went to get it, Fred's dog got the cover of? and ate a lot ofthe ice-cream. This was not a popular dog that night.
