5. Peter Lidstone

This attractive bungalow was built in the early 1980’s by Emile Lynk, who was originally from Cape Breton. One distinguishing characteristic that he created was to hand—cut the shingles in patterns. He lived in the house as he continued to finish the interior, but unfortunately, he passed away before it could be completed.

Arthur and Jean Bell bought the house in 1985. Mrs. Bell stated that they knew it had been very well-built and that a tornado wouldn't move it. They made extensive renovations to it over the years that they lived there. One attractive addition is the beautiful sunroom to the south. rlhey lived there until 1998 when they sold it to the present owner, Peter Lidstone.
