This two story home at the sea shore was built by John Wright after WWII. John and his wife, Minnie (Sellar) and their daughter, Linda, spent many summers there. The home was originally part ofWaldron (Minnie's brother) and Ruby Sellar’s farm. Later, Jack and Olive Stewart bought the two acre property and lived there year round. They moved to h’Ieadowbank and then to Winsloe. Lorne purchased the property in 1987. In 2002, a total renovation was done to the home which included new floors, ceilings, roof, and heating system.
a in the twenty years there, only three children came down their 380 metre lane seeking treats on Halloween; Connie lVlacLeod, and Janet andJennifer MacPhail.
a Lorne stated that there were pheasants roaming here in the late 1980’s. Now there are only a few partridges, no pheasants, but lots of foxes and birds at their feeders.
