This house has an interesting history as it was originally built as a school for the Long Creek Community around 1870. In 1973 Sterling Stordy moved it to its present location on property that was part of the Muirhead farm. It was remodeled and became a home for Sterling and his wife, Audrey (Muirhead), and their two children, Lynn and Chris. Today Sterling and his second wife, Donna (Stuart) live there with their son, Tyler.
