RON ATKINSON The Montague group, headed by Ken Clements, Fred Vuzzo, and John Yeo, had purchased the wire operated Remington traps, and lost no time in building houses and setting up a skeet range about two miles from town, at the estate of William Brennick on the Murray River Road. It was called the Montague Gun Club and was ready to operate by late August, just in time for the dedicated goose shooters of the area to get their leads tuned up for the coming hunting season. On September 14th, five members of the Charlottetown Club visited Montague for an organized shoot of 50 targets and the Guardian reported the event the following day. --196--
