By July, of 1973, six more new members had signed up, including Earl Clow from Flat River; dentist, Dr. Vincent Ramscar; Joey Arsenault; Roger MacLeod; Jim Lovering; and Veteran wingshooter and storyteller, Mott Stewart. This same month the club received a financial break when the highway going past it was widened, in preparation for paving, and a cheque was received from the Provincial Government in the amount of $640.00, for land expropriated in the process.
